redcross Help on getting rid of white worms

Recently I found out that I had a lot of small white worms hiding underneath of my tank inside the Gex soil. I had tried to suck them out during water change but everythme I tried to do so they will immediately hide back down into the soil and later to emerge again. Though sometimes I am successful but most of the time I fail. Is there any ways to get rid of them without getting my shrimps out?? And is it because I overfed them that's why they appear??

not much. I got around 20+ of shrimps including the shrimplets. Usually I will feed half stick of mosura specialty food once every 3 to 4 days.

Reduce your feeding or feed small meals but on a more frequent basis.
