Default Neripteron auriculata

Hi all !

Went to Pulau Tioman over the week and collected some snails from some freshwater rapids.

The species name is Neripteron auriculata and so far from what I read online they are endemic to the island

They are solid black in color and I introduced a few into my tank, and to my amazement they can scrap off hard algaes on my glass  (I can see that they leave a track where they've been).

I am quite certain they do eat GSA on glass to a certain extend !

Very hardy snails and they max at about 1inch in size.
