tankmates?
hi all. can i noe beside otos can put together with shrimp. wat other tankmates can i put with my cherry shrimp? thanks a lot =)

hmm. the fishes mouth must not be as big as the cherry shrimp. but when it breeds, the problems come. the fishes will eat the shrimplets unless u have lots of hiding place for the shrimplets

It really depends on whether you plan to breed the shrimps. If you do then i dun think you should mix any fish with your shrimps except otos like u already have. If not, there are a number of fish u can try. Eg, galaxy, microrasbora. Those small n peaceful fish. Pls avoid fishes like puffers, cichlids etc. You'll see your shrimps dead in no time.

Hmmm..... I think it either fish or shrimp. Although there could be plenty of place to hid, but don't forget when night falls, shrimps come out too. That's when they got attack. Try using a touch light to see for yourself after you off all light.

i think otos are still the best , try not to mix shrimps with fishes
