Deltec APF 850- Heavy Stocking-1000 Ltrs while Normal Stocking-1500 Ltrs .. cost about s$1300.

H&S A-200-1260- Max is 1200L.. (heavy? or normal??) , cost over s$1500. (not too sure of the current H&S local price).

IMO, both beri PUMP/needle wheel dependant ..

Once pump fail, buy new pump & use back original needle wheel or get back original needle wheel pump, but if any needle wheel 'damage'/wearout due to miss use .. U better start lookin for a good fast source ,,

sold my h&s last march ..
no decent & affortable skimmer since then ..

Both skimmers are proven product and it is difficult to comment which is better than the other.

IMHO, since you're willingly to spend that amount of dollars; you should be looking at the post sales aspect from the local supplier in terms of service, spare parts, warranty, etc.

Having said that; the same is applicable to any other product as well.
