Default how many koi can i put in?

got a 7800 gallon of water pond for koi...
can anyone advise how many can i put in?

Hi there, 7800 Gallon will equate to about 30000 litres of water, a good estimate will be 1 koi per 1000 litres, hence 30 kois should not be a problem to you. But this is also dependent that you have a reasonable size filter compartment.

i planning to get the small koi around 5-6 inch...can i put around 48 kois?

it's better to add slowly so that your BB can catch up with the bioload.
