Default What sort of food you guys feed your shrimps for growth.

As above, been feeding my sakuras only algae wafer and i found out their growth rate is rather slow. Benn having them for like 6months liao. 20piece of adults only left 2,while there are lots of shrimplets. So i was wondering what food to feed them to speed up their growth.

Is there any food to feed them with,to increase their colouration although colouration depends heavily on genetics.

Mosura Bioplus....is the best for shrimplets...and full grown adult shrimps like BioPlus too.

Shrimp like powder food more...try feed them with powder food and you will notice a faster growth in them. There are many other powder food Mosura carry...

Hopefully...this helps..

welcome to the forum, your shrimps must consume within 2 hours the food u throw in IMO so u have to estimate the amount u throw in, if its powder form food like mosura bio plus or gravidas just one spoon provided in the bottle itself, if ur shrimps colony is nt booming.

mosura based plant content increase their colouration and enhance and encourage faster growth, if you want more berried shrimps go for mousra execl, meaty content for faster maturation of female shrimps. i only have mousra food and conditional products, cant say abt the other products hope this helps.

I feed mine Shrimp Frenzy from CRS Haven. They break down slowly thus no small particles will go into the substrate. Size is big enough so that bigger shrimps will not grap and run and consume them all by themselves and one corner. Ocassionally I'll feed them Hikari wafer and algae wafer. Sometimes I also feed them blanched lettuce.
