The weaker one in "tang kap" mode.
Seriously, I think something is off-balance for this guy though it seems to be developing well.
It will swim furiously when I approach and its sucker will "miss" the floor and it ends up this way...

The better one is already starting to sport the typical Mohawk odontodal growth, its just above the eye.

Got pics to show??? I cant imagine.

I believed other type of sinking pellets might work too. Just as precaution, do pre soak the pellets before feeding.

bro chilicrabz, do you want to try putting in some water plants or hairline moss to add hiding spaces between the agressive fries and create environment for them to lean on or play on it. Just a suggestion.

I am thinking of either Hikari Micro wafer or Hikari saki (red). Their size is very small which i think i can give it a try. Any reasons for pre soaking the pellets??

Depending on the feeding trend of the fish. sometime, they may just swallow the pellet whole if the pellet size fit their mouth and those trapped air in the pellets may be harmful to the fish if they bloat too much in their belly.

pre soaking the pellets will reduce the risk.
