I have read from page 1 to this last thread... and I got some questions..

I use to feed my ray pup (last time) with MP, but after hearing from bro that MP too much and in long run, the white spot will turn yellow or brownish.. so now with wanted to try kunning fish..

may I know.. since my new ray pup (5-6") are small,
1. do I need to debone and only feed the meat???
2. what about the skin? I notice my ray will eat only 1pc and then just chew on the 2nd or 3rd pc and then ignore it.. could it be the skin??
3. if I cut into small bite size with the bones and skin (just cut away tail and fin).. it is ok for small ray pup??
4. can I just feed only kunning as the main diet or do I need to mix with sotong, sutchi, MP occasionally?

I tried feeding kuning and chicken fillets. My rays eat everything. I just fillet the kuning length-wise and cut into smaller pieces. Heard say kuning bones very hard, not as soft as tamban.

I would like to highlight the hard bones of kunning too; especially the "T bone" located around the belly area (heard horror stories of humans choking on that, what more arowanas...)

I sometimes buy the "better quality" dory (without visible fat), then mix with prawn meat and pellets, and freeze into a sort of mini "fishball".

Sometimes my aro takes, most times the kelahs grab first
