GH during cycling doesnt really matter.. tis is wad i feel.. cos after fully cycle... u can adjust ur GH by adding mineral plus or other stuffs which will bring up GH..

If not wrong, initially you do a huge water change is to remove as much ammonia released by the soil then after that you just cycle the tank as normal.
