I leave home at 6plus every morning and return home only at 8-9ish. So leave leave them some food if not they only can take dinner everyday(except weekends) I'm quite worried that they might take a liking towards feeder shrimps so much that they may not take MP and mussels later on.

wonder whens the next shipment for fahakas, usually twice a year right? mid year and end year another one. Cant wait for my tank to arrive, till now no confirmation yet, tankmaker got too many orders. my equipments all hanging around under my bed and closet, i love the feeling of setting up a new tank, troublesome yet enjoyable
Hmm normally tank makers will take about a week plus to deliver your tank to you. Im also waiting for my new 3 ft tank lol but i heard that you have to add water to the tank and leave it for a few days for e silicon toxins to dissolve den can also add some feeder fish to test water...

You can set up ur tank in ur room? so lucky.my parents dont let me set up tank in my bed room..only hall can

Dont leave too many shrimps inside because your puffer will den overeat. One or two shrimps is enough to make a baby puffer full lol and their stomach will look all out of shape (lumpy) after eating e shrimp if they eat bloodworms or mp, their tummy will look round n big..

Feed them clams too, you know when you open e clam, one half will have the main meat and the other half will have abit of meat at e sides. Give the half with abit of meat to your baby puffer..its a good way for dem to file down their teeth too i normally give the other half with meat to my big fahaka lol

Anw my big fahaka is stressed as hell now because hes tank is literally bare..still waiting for my 3ft tank to transfer him over den i can start landscaping my 5 footer..

Wash the sand thoroughly den slowly add the sand inside..the puffer might be abit stress at first but it definitely prefers a sandy substrate to laze on

haha.. last time my order came within a week... now more than 2 weeks i suppose. all the other times i just add water and fish straight away, no problem. Thou its been advised to let the silicone cure further. Still i'm impatient but i always make sure that i add only til half tank then subsequently fill up over the next few days.

Yeah i always set up the tanks in my room, prefer it in the room where i can use the computer, watch tv and have the tank just beside me to view anytime rather then walking in and out. The maximum tanks i ever had were 3tier 4 feet tanks and a few small ones. It was such a hassle to water change the top tier tank that i left it bare after awhile.

nah seldom turn on air con unless gf is over at my place. the tanks maintain a steady 28-29C without air con.

hahaha if its not in you room also good ma... wont have smell(fyi my room no smell thou sometimes ppl say got ) and u wont get ur floor wet so often. esp for parquet floor, the water seeps inside

then again, when i first got my 3 tiers and my 422 i just order and put inside, didnt consult anyone at all. my mom did say a little bit after that nothing already. they knew i was abit crazy about fishkeeping so theres no stopping me
