recently there is a species call "channa aka red fin".
couldn't find any article on net. does anyone know more on the newly discovered channa? btw do u guys think that it looks abit like channa gachua?? |

This species is called fire and ice bro.Yes i agree it looks like a gachua.It belong to the dwarf family.

That is a short bodied albino Channa striata.

I strongly agree with u that the shop is selling its other fishes also at a very high price.Mine was bought there at the size of 3inch for $58.I bought it on impulse because i think that this kind of fish is nt easily available at the lfs.What is the normal market rate for the short body albino channa striata,any bro can help me? |

Superficially looks like a stewarti variant, BTW where was this collected ?
Ben, I would rule out Channa sp 'Assam' as this fish has pelvic fins while the former does not. |
