just put some food there and leave it overnight. next day, see whether the food is still there. most likely, the food will be gone. crabs are shy and rarely come out in human presence.

yea, i see guppies.. FYI, those crabs are land crab. they just need a shallow tub of water for them to go in and eat. a "island" set up is not ideal for them.

They do not just need a shallow tub of water. They need sufficient water to be able to moult, most preferably being able to cover them fully. Add some coral chips or coral sand to the water source. They require calcium to moult too.
For vampire, they are a bit more territorial, so giving them more space per pair would be ideal. have fun! Last edited by Panut; 17-05-2009 at 02:23 PM. |

really? from the infos i read, most of them put a tub of water. too deep and they may drown. well, im still learning though. thanks for your info.
