I'm tempted to start one too
I've just tested my water using API 5-in-1 Test Strips (lazy guy )

GH 30ppm (1.7dGH)
KH 120ppm (6.7dKH)
pH 7.3
NO2 0
NO3 30

Treated Tap Water
GH 0
KH 0
pH 6.5
NO2 0
NO3 0

I will try to bring down the Nitrate in the coming days.

I'm quite sure your son will be excited to see CPO in the tank. But make sure he don't put his hands into the tank.

Bro,

Your CPO seems very Orangy.... Care to share where you got them?...

Thinking of setting a tank like yours too.

Please advice?...

Here's how the tank looks like.

PVC piping is used to provide shelter of the right diameter.

Hi bro,

What Temperature is your tank?...

Can it be kept in normal temperature?...

Also, the sand in your tank is normal sand right?... Not Magic Soil right?...
