Regarding mini IT..

Saw slightly bigger one at Clementi last night. They are bigger, more stable and looks healthier. At $2, I thought it is more worthwhile if survival rate is higher.

What I do not understand is various fish shops start to sell mini 3 bar IT at $12 to $15. Even 3 bar still an IT. Bought few weeks ago in pack of 10, there are 3 bar. Last weekeNd also pick up 1 3 bar from je, all these at 1 dollar. Wonder anyone really pay hefty price for such overpriced IT. The sellers will be " steal laughing" cos I believe the cost price to them is the same as they come mixed in 1 big pack.

Saw a big (but unstable) 3 bar IT recently.

Owner said only takes live feeder. Are they still as notoriously difficult to train to accept MP, pellets or even SW?

They take dried shrimp quite readily. Mine are on ds diet with only 1 meal of live feed per week. Even the mini IT will eat ds, just need to choose the small one and pluck them into mini pieces.
