Regarding mini IT..
Saw slightly bigger one at Clementi last night. They are bigger, more stable and looks healthier. At $2, I thought it is more worthwhile if survival rate is higher. What I do not understand is various fish shops start to sell mini 3 bar IT at $12 to $15. Even 3 bar still an IT. Bought few weeks ago in pack of 10, there are 3 bar. Last weekeNd also pick up 1 3 bar from je, all these at 1 dollar. Wonder anyone really pay hefty price for such overpriced IT. The sellers will be " steal laughing" cos I believe the cost price to them is the same as they come mixed in 1 big pack. |

Saw a big (but unstable) 3 bar IT recently.
Owner said only takes live feeder. Are they still as notoriously difficult to train to accept MP, pellets or even SW? |

They take dried shrimp quite readily. Mine are on ds diet with only 1 meal of live feed per week. Even the mini IT will eat ds, just need to choose the small one and pluck them into mini pieces.
