hello PNT bros

do u guys use UVB light for your PNT? i am keeping MBT but still not sure if really need UVB lights. they are not cheap...and they last only 1 year.

I do but I don't on it very often only 2x a week 8hrs each when I feed it calcium supplements for better adsorption due to the vit D3 produced under UVB. Basically the life span of the bulb is typically 10,000 hrs. How long it last depends on your usage.

I bought a 3 ft t8 aqua zonic submersible light then swap the normal light tube with arcadia 12% uvb light tube(reason is because the casing can block the uv spectrum up to 50% rendering it as a 6% uvb effective bulb). Total cost $70+ or $80+ can't really remember. But it was quite sometime back

It's the UVB bulb that is ex think now the price increase already. 3ft arcadia reptile tube can cost $70+/-
