I still remember i use to see people caught ST in Xiao guilin during the 90s. Guess those must be release by hobbist.

Yah, but now u got there to fish nowadays, you will be happy if you can get a tilapia. There are no such luck of getting IT or ST liao.

Always see PRC tabao hundreds of earth eater in the canal near Springleaf estate. Giant gourami too.

20 years ago also you can remember ah? Back then I don't even know simi T. I only know tiger barbs. Got normal, green and white ones...

Remember la, cos only sec 1 mah. Still remember the ST clearly. Those days may people release fishers mah. I also release 2 slv aros and few LH there.

What a rare catch...? Been luring for more than a decade first time seen ST. Maybe I just never fish hard enough. Hope to add that into my list soon....

Maybe only specific location? I ever heard some local anglers mentioned what river to fish wat fish, wat reservoir to catch wat aro etc.... Really?

That True. Some reservoirs are infested by certain species while others have others but generally they are temensis and monos.

Our waters are already fully dominated by PBs, so sad for our local snakeheads.
