and did not provide sand bed at your place? interesting.. haha Ocadia sinensis (aka Mauremys sinensis) is classifiied as Endangered (En) under the IUCN red list but the they are being bred commercially in large quantity so i guess still ok to "give" or "sell"... Btw, i am not encouraging you to "give" or "sell", what i am trying to say is do not worry that your action will affect the wild population unless it is trading of wild livestock.
