Update abit.
Booked out and went to NA to buy my DF-700 from NA today. Didt know china brand canister was quite cheap. With the 2 year warranty, its reasonable. Went back home and to my horror, found more pest in the tank. Water Flea, mosquito larvae, blood worm, seed shrimp and even planaria. Since my plan is to set up the filter and go Y618 to buy the shrimps, i brought some neon tetra also. Hopefully the tetra can live in harmony. Still dipping my shrimps now before adding them in. |

Bro since you know that your tank has those pest introduced then why did you still wish to put in the shrimp? Patience is the key of success to planted tank. If I would you I would have kill off those pest and change water and observe a few more days before releasing any shrimp. You won't know how annoying planaria are and their regenerate body are. Good luck bro
