i have seen those spirulina tablets sold in na. the size is smaller than that of a hikari algae wafer right? did not see the price though.
so we just feed these spirulina tablets like normal treats? |

The purpose of boiling the veggie is to make it softer, easier for the shrimps to break into pieces (try the difference between a cooked n uncooked carrot) and most importantly, for them to sink...

by the way, feeding frozen blood worms provides a good source of protein for the shrimps..
but the risk is introducing white worm that crawls on ur tank (according to some source from internet).. |

White worm should exists in your tank in small number, when they feast on frozen blood worms, they can multiple fast.
