i guess priceing is not allowed to be revealed in the forum ya?
take note foods with copper are deadly to them.
yes you are quite correct about pricing revealing here.
We are still discussing how to go about in order to make best of both worlds.
Sticky will be up soon.

The purpose of boiling the veggie is to make it softer, easier for the shrimps to break into pieces (try the difference between a cooked n uncooked carrot) and most importantly, for them to sink...

by the way, feeding frozen blood worms provides a good source of protein for the shrimps..

but the risk is introducing white worm that crawls on ur tank (according to some source from internet)..

If you ever need to boil something to get rid of pesticide, then it should not be use to feed to shrimp in the first place.

White worm should exists in your tank in small number, when they feast on frozen blood worms, they can multiple fast.

Carrot/cucumber compare with leafty vege, Carrot/cucumber is safer. Why? because they grow in soil and you have to remove skin which is the contact on the pesticide what inside the skin is safe. For leafty vege, pesticide is spray on the leave and u have to feed shrimp with the leaves that is spray with pesticide.

And if the reason for boiling a carrot is to drive the toxic, then you should not feed it to shrimps. Because the pesticide has gotten into the carrot inside the soil and has slip through the skin.

Yeah, I used to feed them with organic vege, but now just dried food.
