Bro.. I dont know the exact address. You just ask around when you are there. There is only 1 store that proudly display their platinum gator in their display tank. You can see at the edge of the tail the black markings starting to appear. There are 2 stores selling platinum gator. You can go take a look.

One indo breeder shows me a pic of a his plat gator gar. At 6 inches black spot on the fins. At 12 inches the black spots disappear. Why is it so?

Also grade A is define as ? Grade B? Different ppl said differently. Confused.

Time will tell what is these grading all about i guess.Didnt come across adult fish at all,most are at most sub adult.

The spots will fade but wont go away. If the spots are faint, then they may disappear. Will get better as it grows bigger.

Will the spots come and go as the surrounding changes? Or will a spotless grade A fish stay spotless regardless of surroundings?

Reason I am asking is because I got one myself and am disappointed with what i have to say the least. After a week some spots start appearing both on the fins and on the back of the fish. Supplier said its because I keep in white tank.

I dont think if it is grade A that it matters what the surroundings are, usually the tip might be very slightly blemished because of water conditions or new environment. As it grows, if it is grade A, there shouldn't be any spots appearing. I assume you bought a gator and florida gar ya.

yes, it's a gator I am talking about. I only have the after pic, sadly did not take a clear before picture. when it came it was spotless except for a couple faint spots on the fins.

I use a little coral chips. is it the ph or the kh that matters?
