I have not tried using this method. Normally I will boil the organic spinach (leaves only) for around 3 to 4 minutes. Before feeding, I will tear the leaves into smaller bits. The shrimps will attack the torn parts of the leaves first.

Poking some holes on the leaf will let the leaf sink down easily
