I think our tapwater don't allow ask to have soiless tank.... w/o doing alot of precise adjustment. Meaning tapwater really have to adjust till the tank parameter inorder to minimize swing..... My worried is if too much chemical use it will consolidate with anything to adsorb them...... Than i think it going to be a chemical timebomb.

some pict of my taiwan bee shrimplets keep in soilless tank (bare tank)
I use soil just for take a good detail of my shrimps especially PRL Some of my PRL In indonesia, especially in Bandung and Bogor, here is the true shrimps farm with lots of breeders like me, which ship more than 100.000 shrimps aboard..... So visit Indonesia if you want some beautifull and cheap shrimps....... |

You are very lucky to live in an area where the average temperature throughout the year is around 24C. No wonder you don't need a chiller.

Why do you need to use the benibachi ball too? I though air sponge is all u need?
Any fts of your prl tanks? Teach us a bit la. |

Benibachi crimson balls is to remove ammonia leeching from the soil.. If only little soil is used then Benibachi balls serves no purpose in my opinion..
Please give a full tank shot of your PRL tanks.. Really interested to know more.. Thanks.. |

in that case, inert sand can be used too ah, no need breeder's soil liao.
why have to add breeder soil to complicate your simple setup wor? |
