You can adjust the differences by pressing 'set' for 10sec and "CA" will appear on the display, press + or - to retify the true temp of your tank and in your case you need to press (-) twice since ur chiller temp indicate 2 degree higher then your tank.

ok... just called home, mum told me that my tank was scary..
like the exterior of the tank was dripping water.. xD thats good actually.. now i know its working..but its normal that it takes a chiller that long for the effects to be noticeable right? |

For the 1st time u connect to a chiller it will take longer time to reach the temp u set.
Like mine 1st time kick in also long then now is kick-in 15min & rest for 1.5hrs. |

it shld not take more then 30min for the CL450 to cool 2degree for your 2ft tank but still depends on wat equipments you are using for ur tank... more wattage= more heat produced

thanks thanks.. didn't know the chiller has the calibration function..
i think it can drop from 31-29 in 30 min.. but from 31-25/24 is like near 2 hrs.. anyway, i just saw my tank today.. it was really scary... the condensation is so much my metal frame is dripping water.. is it ok?? i scared it'll rust and spoil.. x/ |

your room temperture is too high and from my experience, i encountered water condensation if i set below 24 degree. 24 and above no such problem

i using HC150A to run my 2 3ft tanks..
Linked the both tanks to a simple gravity feedsystem, now testing the chiller see if its operating normally. |

Other solutions are to use a tank with thicker glass or direct the output of hot air as far away from your tank as possible!
