I scooped out 4 cups of tank water and topped up with 1.5L of water every week regardless whether there is pregnant shrimp. I usually do not have a massive water change, unless I need to replace the cotton wool and wash the media in my canister filter. That will be every quarters and I will change 3/4 of a red pail of de-chlorinated water.

Hi Bro
Nice setup, I am new to CRS keeping as well, however I did manage to saw one of my Golden pregnant 2 weeks ago, however never manage to see any offspring so far and not even teh pregnant mom.... sob sob.... not sure why.... But one thing for sure I don't use a chiller, only a fan on 24/7 temperature able to maintain between 26 to 27C |
