Thanks for the suggestion, but am using a chiller then use fan... kinda defeat the reason I use a chiller Dun wish to keep on adding water into the tank, disturbing the cycle of the eco system within.

chiller is indeed better than fan...
but much more expensive and space taking den fan also.. |

It's just an idea, maybe you can try half beaks (Dermogenys pusillus). http://badmanstropicalfish.com/profiles/profile49.html
I have them in my tank, & they're always swimming near the surface of the water, does'nt have any shrimps in my tank so i don't know if they'll eat shrimps. According to the website, they'll eat mosquito larvae. If they constantly stays on top & the shrimps are at the bottom, theoretically the shrimps should be safe. |

WARNING TO ALL SHRIMP KEEPER DUN EVER EVER PUT FISH TO COMM WITH UR SHRIMPLET SURE GONE IN NO TIME... BLOODY HELL JUST NOW SAW MY RED RUBY GO ATTACK MY SHRIMPLET DEN I STRAIGHT THROW THEM INSIDE MY GUPPY TANK LIAO... but saw some of my shrimplet still surviving hehe happy liao |

orrhh.. that big piece of fish.. whole thingy red one arh..
no offence arh.. bro, find it quite ulgy... conclusion.. wan to keep shrimps and wan to have shrimplets? dun keep ANY fish or even snails in ur tank.. just purely shrimps |
