Our tap water with chlorine is very deadly without a good conditional. Forget about those 3-5 dollars per bottle with blue tainted water n ocean free brand I personally tried and tested with fish tiger barbs most sensitive of all can lie on bottom tank on side within mins.

Hey peeps! Actually I have no intention of keeping puffer although they are cute and all. But after reading this thread, like kana poison sia. So thinking of getting hairy puffer, but got a few questions.

1. I intend to keep my hairy puffer with knife fish, gar and oscar. Possible?
2. Can they all co-exist using same type of water perimeter?
3. What is the price range of a hairy puffer? Between?

The poison is killing me! XD XD

I kept mine in a 1.5ft tank. They don't swim a lot and usually rest on the bottom of the tank except during feeding time.

I used to keep hairy in 211 tank but i think 11.5 cube is sufficient. Should max out around 5-6",didnt see any bigger one before.Feed it with crayfish to see action
