have since decomm my denitrator after selling all my aros. inlet from main tank and outlet to sump inlet.

Hydrogen sulphite is very unstable. When in contact with oxygen, it will turn to harmless hydrogen sulphate. This will give you an rough idea on whether ozoniser will clear hydrogen suphite.

Okay its been about a week since i set up my denitrator with deniballs, Now I am wondering how do I get started..
Should i try turn on the tap to flow 2-3 drops per second into a container and check if there is a smell?
Then if there is no smell lead the output tube to my sump?

Just fix a container in the return compartment in the sump with holes on the bottom. Fill it with GAC with top layer wool. Open the output to about 2-3 drops per second. Test the NO3 1/2hr later. If NO3 detected, reduce the flowrate to 1 drops/s. Test NO3 1/2 hr later.

hmmm.. cause after reading up, i was thinking to DIY a denitrator. but for my 4 feet tank, im using a OHF for mech and eheim 2028 for bio. any advise if installing a denitrator?

Well ...you can use the input from the canister. Output to the ohf.

oh.. ok. so if i intend to DIY, i get a cylinder, with 2 pumps. 1 pump is to generate cycle inside the cylinder and another pump is to draw water from the main tank into the cylinder. fill the cylinder up with bioballs and and deniball.

if there any point i need to take note?
