don't mean to hijack the thread but here is my VATF and GATF duos.

VATF is at around 11-12" in a monster comm and is pretty low in the hierarchy pole. lol.. super skittish compared to everyone else.

GATF duo is around 5-6" in a monster grow out comm and are the dominant players when feeding live guppies as they are super fast. They fight amongst each other quite often although my blue masheer also thinks its one of them and shoals with them and even chases them but ends up with missing scales from the GATF. lol

excited to see how they turn out in the future..

Hi Shifu here, can I check if GATF will have sudden death issue as well? As recently my GATF suddenly just die w/o reason when the small guppies are still happily swimming inside the grow out tank sob sob....its abt 4-5"......just puzzle....can't be water parameter as it's still ok swimming happily the day before and there is no heavy feeding...only 1 or 2 pellets for the feeders....please advise, thanks!

Juvenile tend to sds..this is common due to unexplained reasons...
Try to get mid sized fishes as they tend to be more stable..

Now left with my original piece that I've had for close to twenty months now and measuring at 19-20 inches. Recently did a revamp of my tank and now it's quite peaceful so for the first time in his life he's not being chased around by other fishes. He's developed a really big appetite, damn shiok to see him feeding so much and growing broader in size with no dropped scales

Photo just taken after he whacked a huge meal of kuning and mp

looks like semi short body
