I recommend adding a few boraras briggitae, they're shrimplet safe. I have 4 of them in each partition, and 1 in each breeding box, even the one reserved for my crs mamas to release her shrimplets |

Very important in shrimp keeping, discard all your knowhow in fish keeping. Shrimps and fishes are totally different. Start afresh. Start by reading up. A lot of info are available here if you bother to search.

Erm, I had to go back to camp and I couldnt think of a better solution so I added a really small guppy into the tank with my shrimps. It is smaller than my shrimps. My berried mamas arent ready to give birth yet, so I decided to add the guppy to eat the worms.

Apparently, I believe my tank has become rather sustainable and I only top up dechlorinated water. The worms that I have in the tank have reduced slightly because of my shrimps. I refused to put food into the tank recently because the shrimps were not attracted to the food. They were just scavenging and eating everything on the ground which is in its path such as the worms. Today, I also noticed two molted shells in the tank which means my water conditions are ok??? Do I siphon out the molted shells???
