The skin of the planaria is known to be harmful to shrimps. Maybe some very mild nerve poisoning effect. Don't think there is any small shrimp safe method to kill them. Haiz. . .

It is best to get rid of it although they do help with clearing death shrimp that is death and couldn't be located but i would rather clear any i see.

Recently i started using PH down solution for my tank. found that if i squirt the diluted solution onto the planaria they will shrivel up and die.

The other day,i scoop out some of the planaria into a small container then i add some aquarium salt,the planaria died later. Tried it with seed shrimp,also die.
