Update for Day 18
The backbone of the frys are forming and you should be able to see the two black lines developing on it's back. If you look at the side profile of the frys, you will see a very define red line that is fast becoming black in i colour. Development of the forehead/skull structure is also more abvious at this stage. Can see dark colour pigmatation on some of their foreheads. Tail finage is also more abvious. You can see the the "fan" shape tail section becoming more define. Formation of the dorsal and anal fin have also started. Eye balls have also gotten bigger. Got two defective frys, one has only got one eye and a slight crooked tail, and the other has got a open mouth, still cannot close....lolxing all the way. |

Update for Day 19
The head structure of the frys have grown bigger. You will be able to see dark patches forming in circle like shapes on the fore head area. The eyes of the frys have also gotten bigger compared to the previous day. The tummy areas of the frys have also gotten bigger and turned from red to a healthy white pigmentation compared to previous day video. If you look carefully, you will also notice that the gill area of the frys are starting to develop a white pigmentation. The two black lines along the back of the frys have gotten darker and for some bigger frys, the two dark lines are starting to merge at the back of the head area to form one bold line. The dark lines along the side profile of the frys have joined to the dark lines from the top-back area of the frys to form a rectangular-oval shape at the tail fin area. If you look carefully, there is vertical dark line that is forming around the tail section of the frys, separting the tail fin from the main body. At the beginning of the video, you should be able to see baby "One Eye Jack" and also baby "LOLX" Enjoy. |

Update for Day 20
For Day 20th, generally as a whole, the frys have gotten darker in colour. The dark lines along the top, side profile and especially around the tail end section of the frys have all gotten darker or bolder. The pigmentation have gotten darker. Compared to the previous day, there is much more development in the dorsal, caudal and anal finnage. The pectoral finnage have also started to grow out, although it is very tiny and rather strainious on the eye, but you sould be able to see it in the video. The egg sacks have also gotten smaller and from my own obervation, there seems to be days where there are more growth spurts. Eg, the frys went through a bigger growth change from Day 18 to Day 19. But Day 19 to Day 20 seems to be a "consolidation" growth period, where fry development is centered on building existing head, boday and tail bone structures. Another good example, on Day 19, the eye balls of the frys seems to be larger than the head structure, but on Day 20, the head structure have grown larger and seems to have "caught" up in size proportion. Look carefully at the mouth/lips area, it has become sharper/poutier. Dark lines have also started forming around the lips region of the frys. Like faint black colour "lipstick". Tomorrow is Sunday, so there will be no video. Must take a break from going down every day. Man must rest for at least one day. . Have a great weekend. |
