couldnt afford a chiller or anything expensive. so im only having cherries/sakura.
snowballs are coming in for the new tank thats on the cycling process..

!!
You mean these cherries/sakura and snowballs can survive a tank without chiller and only fans?..hmmm than that will be great news if I want to have shrimps in my tanks without chiller.

haha. thanks man. but any idea where exactly isit? i live in eunos but no idea where isit. would help greatly if u tell me the landmarks! or even tell me their number/website! thanks!! ^^

in actual i only got 3 tanks. the other 2 plastic ones are for quarantine mosses to prevent worms and another to keep extra plants/mosses. =)

the small tank:
currently used to quarantine shrimps that are suspected to be sick but is waiting to be rescaped for CPOs.

the medium tank:
for sakura and cherries.

the big one tank:
waiting for snowballs, cycling.

i stay in a air con room where my tempreture can vary from 20 degrees to 25 degrees in the day. when i 1st bought them, i kept my fan on during the day and off when im at home. everything looks fine breeding werent super fast. but ive got 3~4 batch of babies since then; excluding the dropped eggs. since i got my shrimps before they were adults!

recently i left my fan off thinking water evaporation was a problem for me. i had to top up the water every single day. temp vary from 20~27 and to the highest 30 once. but still i had no death rates and i just spotted a berried female last week.

just sharing my experience.
its for you to decide!
=)

Very nice bro. Thanks for sharing. I have a 1.5 ft in my store room and I am setting up a 3 ft in my living room. Really make me feel like starting up on the 1.5 ft tank too.
