u wont get caught till someone go call AVA. i was caught but i still get to keep my PNT after AVA go to my place n c that my PNT is big. after i adopted my 2nd PNT which was ard the same size as my original PNT i informed AVA. so far no issue.

you lucky can get PNT before they illegal.

actually not. i took over my boy in late 2006 or early 2007 fr a friend. the suspected girl was adopted last sept. but both were acquired by their previous owners before the ban.

PNTs were banned in early 2005.

PNT is Carettochelys insculpta while Chinese SST is Pelodiscus sinensis.

i dont think u can buy them alive. yest my GM was telling me he saw some near his place n the worker say that they must kill it before they sell it. they cant sell it alive to u.

SST is a very aggressive species. u can only keep it alone in a tank.

I bought frm sheng siong live SST before they sold me no problem just pack for me i pay at cashier & go.

If you want to buy live bigger size soft shell turtle you can go chinatown wet market many sizes to choose frm big to small.
