yeah im feedin mp as the staple... i will chop the meat includin the shell... den once a week will buy 1 packet of ghost shrimp n let all my puffers share... i also give them cockles n mussels... my ceylon n green spotted love it but fahaka nv touch them at all... den once in awhile silverfish also...

haha. quite headache... some puffers like this... dun like tat some like tat but dun like this.... but GSP most greedy... everything also will eat. my SAP dun take MP even its finely chop. it will only eat bw n ghost shrimp... fahaka eat mp n ghost shrimp but dun take shellfish...fig8 onli take ghost shrimp...

All my puffers eat cockles, clam, mussels, squid, scallop etc etc. Whatever seafood I eat, they eat. Easy pets. Fahaka takes pellets and red eyes take pellets (Except Ryu, one of my boys who probably can't stand the strong protein smell). All of them take ghost shrimps too.
I don't like to feed feeders because they are full of parasites and besides, I can't imagine having a half eaten guppy floating around. Puffers are such messy eaters. evian (sis) |
