Great collections. Really a good sight to see small ITs with big tigers, so peaceful. When i tried that 3 plus years ago, my 2" ITs almost became food for my bigger tigers, swallow and spilt out.

I currently hv 2 ITs in the same tank. The smaller is more active, swimming around but it's color has turn dark. Will it help if I add in more tigers? I've notice some bro's tank has quite a number of tigers & all of them are very stable.

Hi all,

am thinking of hsing some really small ITs like 1-2" together with my bigger ones....a 11" IT and a 4-5" NTT plus 2 6-7" rays and some aros ard 8-9".
I am afraid that i juz throw in, will be gone in few seconds...shld i get a seperator to hse the ITs till they grown bigger ? Or isit safe to juz put them together?

Think it's better to house in breeder box or separate them bro. At that size they may become easy food for your aro or other tigers.

i am keeping a 2" it with 3 large 10-12" IT no problem
together with 3 12" long endi
currently no problem
but main point is not to miss feeding sessions

Just to share my 36 small ITs mixture of 3 and 4 bars in 5 feet tank.

Diet : MP

Eat a lot but growth rate slow. Hope it grow faster

Hi itchy, yes now no more guppies and now concentrate on the ITs. Their diet is MP.
