Anyway, just to share the developments of my 2.5ft red eye puffer tank. Saw the thread in tank setup section and got inspired with fake plants.....so here goes. Bought 3 mats of fake plants at $2 each, 10 cable ties at 10 cents each and 10 suction cups at 10 cents each too. Attach the suction cups to the mats with cable ties and sticked them to the back of the tank. Heres the final product.
Will be adding more fake plants in time to come. Wanna experiment with fake plants for this setup......total damage, $8 for the plant wall! |

i see............thanks bro.
One question. U see your pipes in ur tanks. Sure got one layer of slime and maybe some hard deposits ya? Sometimes the entire pipe which is submerged in water will have a layer of these. Will plastic plants have this as well? |

i see...cause my air hose got one layer of cream colour deposits. When touched nia, all come loose, so was wondering if these will cover the plastic plants or not. Nevermind, during every wc, i try and brush them with my hand abit.

Anyway, will your red eyes kill an Oto or a small pleco? These will clear up the slime pretty well. |
