my ramshorn tank is on the floor... ... any idea how to siphon out the poo covering the tank floor...

wah... how big is your tank? got eggs inside or not?

no eggs then just carry the tank loh..

cannot la... the tank is a 2ft tank.... even drain out half the water, also very very heavy... ... stupid me...

not sure if the physics principle works anot, but if the water level is different, even both at ground level, there shd be a pressure differential... will try later, hopefully the pressure differential enough for the water to pump out of the tank...

oh... u keep snails in 2ft tank. lucky snails.

if full 2ft tank, water still can pump out, but will be slow.
i have a couple tanks on the floor also. i do WC normally use powerhead attached to hose. so just jump out.

ya lor... if cannot, then no choice use powerhead... but dun tink is tat good... risky and hard to control also...

... if ramshorns successful, maybe will try apples liao... or maybe have 2 breeding tanks of ramshorns...

water from african setup. water hard hard... should be good for snail right...

i not sure whether the chlorine bad for snails or not. but i think since it's bad for fish, should be bad for snails also mah...
