Preferably.... If you have the resources, set up a brackish tank for it and slowly increase the salinity appropriately.

Judging from ur avatar, u r into marine setups? If yes, then should not have a problem given ur experience with marine?

Else guess u will have to setup a brackish tank for it.

i am into marine for almost 1/2 a year..since i was fooled by the FS guy..i wanted to make it fully marine but i didnt..the only prob nw is it nips on fishes tail and a messy eater..so the ammonia surely will spike in a marine tank so i already drain out the water of the current tank and made the tank into a brakish water tank for IT and my green scat...my hydrometer only is frm 1.010 so now i just added some waste water from my marine tank to the tank..

and can the palembang be put into brakish water??

qqsad, nice puffer, never seen them in LFS, where did you get them?

Y618 Update, 4 Palembangs, 0 Fahakas, lots of GSPs

Btw qqsad, i dont think they are ceylon puffers, they look more like Figure 8s.
