I'm using Seachem discus buffer to maintain between PH 6.5 to 6.8. Inexpensive and can be used for up to 8000 litres of water.

Can the coral chips and oyster shells be also used to increase the KH value of my water in a planted aquarium ?

At present I am using EIHO KH Plus solution.
