Me and my friend bought one each 2 years ago, both didn't do well in freshwater.

I bought 2 pieces of 1inch grouper from a fellow hobbyist at $10 each. Did not do well. Died in less than 1 week. It has a habit of eating live fish.

That seems like a frogfish to me guys. I might not be 100% affirmative regarding it's ID, but that is a brackish/saltwater fish in its native habitat, I feel that it will not thrive in freshwater.

Just my opinion.

Nice , more and more types of sw fish converted to fw for us to keep , ranging from GT to grouper and now stone fish
