Won't the heat emitting from air-con units "heat up" the fish tank water?

IF you pictures to show us will be good.
My air-con ledge is different. I don't stay in HDB. It is more of a balcony except entrance is at my kitchen instead of my living room. We use it to sun our clothes and 4-5 people stand there also no problem.
I am using a low height tank. The heat from the air-con units go over the tank, not on it. So no problems.

ya Kelvin,
only meant for small undemanding fishes.

My neigbour tried put in feeder goldfishes from C328,
all kick the lorry within one week and smell badly.

I have guppies, mollies, ghost prawns, mini puffers, bettas all living toghtr.
Doing very well!

Goldfish are actually more suited for cold water so outdoor setup in SG will not be suitable

haha, thats quite a mix ya, must be a very lively comm.

i think some of the feeders might not be very healthy in the first place as it is common that they carry parasites with them ya...

I do agree with you the feeders are vulnerable to parasites and usually die within a month or less.

Interestingly, most of these feeders survived the outdoors test.

The miracle of life.

But will the tank stand get rusty faster due to rain + sun?

Just to show people my outdoor tank. Tank is a low type, but its a 2 foot. Inside are 2 bettas, one male and one female. They are not really living in harmony (the male chases the female one). But its a maze inside, so they hardly see each other. I feed them every 2 days and change the water (20%) every week or so. I also put in ferts. As you can see, my water hyacinths are flowering.

You can see the tail of my male betta:

bro hardric, neat setup. i suppose the leafy coverage from ur hyacinths block off most of the sunlight. this shld help to stablise ur tank water temp.
