Just did major water change and stop feeding. Hopefully they will just die!!!!

bro.. its not easy to die for them unless u bear to starve your shrimps for days.. which is not possible..

Starve for days is not an issue!!! They can find enough food in the tank.

Hi Bro Koji, actually I dont know if starving your shrimps will actually work.. cause hydra are usually carnivorous from what I read. I used to have them in my old 1.5ft tank.. tried many means and ways to remove.. but they are excellent multiplier.. eg, chopping off the tentacles, they will regrow into new hydra... and they will shrink themselves whenever touched.. the only way I tried was using a 9V battery to electrocute them.. but that will harm your shrimps.. I ended up resetting a new tank...

I can understand your heartache... been there.. done there..
