mine SD kept for 3 years biggest is only 6 to 7 inch.

i heard if the tank is too small the fish will stunt growth?

You may want to consider having a few Ctenolucius hujeta. Your tank should be able to hold them for few years since they max out at abt 9-inch, but they are more of a top level swimmer.

Really doubt that the Silver Dollar, Red hook or Emperor Red hook can grow to 11" under 3' tank enviroment. Can grow to 8" consider miracle hehe

thats a pretty awesome one!! where can i get hold of it & the price ? on top that are there any other fishes similar to that of an African Tiger Fish but yet with a slow growth ?

might be getting hold of a 2ft width though.

bro can try some bucktooth tetra, they feast in packs like piranhas

i have a pair of these hujetas in my 3 footer too! It is really true that they are slow growers...I bought mine form qian hu but u can find them in Y618 and Polyart too . Beautiful fish and very cool when they hunt their food

woah thats impressive. itchy liaoo but its recommended to keep it with its own species isnt it ? anybody tried to comm it with others ? with its sizes at least it wont be an expensive feeder for the bichirs. budget less than 100 would be good !! if not slowly add over time bah haha
