Help Help, my cherry red shrimp

There are 2 possibilities that I can quickly think of.
- Plant/dw not clean, shrimps felt uncomfortable and running to the top. This can be observed, if you noticed multiple deaths soon, or color run, etc. It's been 3 days since your first post, if there are pesticides, death would have occur by now.

- A lot of micro-organism further up, so they are up there to feed on the micro-organism.

There could be many other reasons.

I agree with cheetf. Learning more about the condition before posting such remark will be more productive.

is the green pipe the outlet? if yes, then maybe the current is too strong. get a rainbar.

also, wat soil are you using? and what is the ph of tank..

did you wash the moss before putting in? there might be anti-snail chemicals that might cause the shrimps to be uncomfortable.

get the rainbar and update us..
