just take note, i read at some books that when the snail population doesn't fill the puffer, they'll start to take some smaller fishes, e.g guppy fries.
what a friend of mine did, he removed all the smaller fishes he has and put them into a pail with filter for a few days, then he bought a puffer and send it in for 1 week, after the spring cleaning, he actually gave the puffer back to the shop keeper. maybe we should have a puffer that we can pass around and clear the snails that develop xD |

put in a puffer and it will make a snack of yr shrimps too

will puffer leave the snail shell behind or crush them? they have strong jaws am i correct?

you could actually use YOYo loaches for snails. i have two of these fellows in my shrimps tank and they are doing a great jobs.
