Hey bro , nice sakura, so when can see your CRS tank ah? It is also kept with no fan no chiller?

crs kept with chiller but no gravel. Think I took some photos. Later then post.

With chiller ah, so must be those high grade CRS.... I have not venture into that yet. wait till my new house is ready... Planning a 3ft tank w healia 300 chiller & cannister choice is eheim 2028 but not sure is the flowrate is sufficient?

2028 is more suitable for 4ft & 5ft tank i guess as quite strong or maybe can get suggestion form the LFS if you buy it from them....

Sort of high grade but not pure red line. I used to keep them a year back in my house but gave up. So now just started a few months back, trying to keep it as simple as possible. No gravel, just a chiller with a 55W PL lights over a 2ft by 1ft tank. Only christmas moss and fissidens, and lots of pesky snails.

Seems to be doing well with many shrimplets but have not seen any new borns lately. I may keep some low grade ones in another setup without chiller, the tank has a constant temperature of around 26 degrees.

2028 should be ok for a 3 footer. After all the media and passing through the chiller, the flowrate is much reduced. At most can direct the outlet towards the tank wall. That's what I'm doing in my 2 footer.
