You are a brave man to start with a more delicate species. But since they are doing well, just continue keeping them. They are a nice family to keep and they will breed for you if the conditions are good. Have fun!

You using any gravel in the tanks for the shrimps?
Or any coral chips to keep the PH high?

Just Coral Chips. Actually they are in a Golden Occelatus Tank lol... the Red one has been staying with them for a week. But decided not to take the risk so put them in a divider.

every 5 gallon 2 teaspoon of Epsom salt 1 teaspoon normal salt and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Actually the PH on the high side but they are doing well.

Golden Occelatus are Juvs same size as the shrimps thats why no casuality.

[QUOTE=hengyi86;7633228]Hi this is my first attempt in keeping shrimp. Known as Sulawesi Cardinal Shrimp for the red one. Got it a week ago from C328.

Didnt die so bought 2 more different ones today lol.

WOW!!! i ADORE the red one with orange stripes, so so pretty. did you get it from C328?
can they live with crs, bds and sakuras?anyone?

I want some in my tank!!! er, if they're not too costly! what is it called? can i get a rough indication on the price? (is it allowed in this forum? if so, don't answer!!!)
thanks!
