i guess that 1 month is not very much.. some people cycle up to 2 months to play safe.. i find that cycling is a very important process and it determines whether you will start off on the right/wrong foot.. water parameters maybe all ok but if cycling isnt right it all goes wrong.

Well at this stage it's hard to pin point which went wrong until you done your water test
Cases will be you still have traces of ammonia and nitrite presence in you water First test your water and post it here maybe the expert can help you out |

yup.. today going to get ph, ammonia, nitrite test kit.. since nitrate is ard 0 to 5.. i think nitrate is quite safe?
