In my tank, so far I only noticed they like to "cheong" against the flow from my pirated plastic lily pipe. Though the flow is strong, it does not stop them from doing so. End up washed down by the flow. Think they like water with current.

I experienced this too... but may not because of the water condition...but the nature of the fish and shrimp that always move against the water flow...
I suggest you to move the water bar down at the tank's water level or let the water from the bar go toward the water surface instead of against the tank wall. If the tank wall dry, the shrimp will not climb up... and your shrimps will be safe. |
