A few more advices for you while you do rescapping.. try not to stir the soil as it may cause ammonia spike, and also to quarrantine plants before adding to the tank to prevent hiccups in future (eg planaria, snails or hydra etc.) Good Luck

that is in my curosity of the snail. As u seen in picture.. Are they safe? Also there is some "Slug" like without shell...Are they harmful to the shrimp?

Yes, the snails are safe. the slug is planaria, also known as flatworm. it eats decaying matter, but may attack smaller shrimps.

a good start bro.. i also look abit messy to me.. maybe u can remove some so it look better and neater.. and also easier to spot the shrimp.. actually scaping is up to urself, if u like it then keep it..
another thing i wan to add is the lighting.. i think from the pic, ur light seem to be just a small one for the tank.. try to get some then can light up the whole tank, i will increase the viewing pleasure.. |

I would not like to have that in a shrimp tank.. but once you have that in your tank.. chances are that you will not be able to remove them all. Read from some threads that it may be harmful as its body produces some toxic substances.. Maybe you can search around the forum to look out for more details
